Compositions

Soon to come:  New compositions in Mozart’s style by Mary Robbins provide stylistic integrity for performances where Mozart’s music is incomplete or missing.  Thefollowing new compositions closely follow Mozart’s elemental and architectural constructs and characteristic idioms:

  • 26 Cadenzas, Lead-ins and Embellishments for Mozart’s Piano Concertos K.466 in D Minor, K.467 in C Major, K.482 in E-Flat Major, K.491 in C Minor, K.503 in C Major and K.537 in D Major
  • Cadenzas for Horn for the Concert Rondo, K.371, and Concertos in E-Flat K.417 and K.495
  • Completion of Mozart’s Sonata in G Major for Four Hands, K.357

OTHER COMPOSITIONS:

Other compositions to be offered in the near future include the twenty-odd training pieces for the Joy of Mozart Method.  These simple, easy-to-play pieces in Mozart’s style fill a gap in the repertoire of such pieces available for early students. They are composed to be performed after the student has trained the actions of the Joy of Mozart approach that make it possible to play the five note types of Mozart’s sound palette, and his use of them for his music’s intended interpretation. Through these pieces the student trains how to then approach Mozart’s music, and play it “in Mozart’s style."
